Thermal aspects of magnetically driven micro-rotational nanofluid configured by exponential radiating surface

Kamel Guedri et al.

Summary: This study proposes a method to enhance solar energy capture using dispersed liquids based on nanoparticles. The thermal radiation effect in magnetically driven nanoliquid heat transfer is investigated through modeling and theoretical analysis. The complex rheological expressions are simplified using the boundary layer theory and the convergent solutions are obtained using the homotopy analysis method. The results are interpreted through graphical representations.

Numerical study of MHD hybrid nanofluid flow between two coaxial cylinders

A. Alsaedi et al.

Summary: This paper presents a numerical study on the flow of a hybrid nanofluid between two coaxial cylinders. The results show that higher magnetic parameters lead to a decrease in the velocity of the hybrid nanofluid and nanofluid. Higher magnetic and Brinkman parameters increase the temperature of the hybrid nanofluid and nanofluid. The temperature decreases with an increase in the nanoparticle volume fraction for copper. The Nusselt number increases with the nanoparticle volume fraction for both copper and graphene oxide nanoparticles.

Significance of aluminium alloys particle flow through a parallel plates with activation energy and chemical reaction

G. K. Ramesh et al.

Summary: This study investigates the heat and mass transfer of a hybrid nanofluid between parallel plates, taking into account chemical reactions, activation energy, and heat source/sink effects. The results show that chemical reaction values and activation energy have different effects on concentration curves, while heat source/sink parameters influence heat transport and drag friction. The hybrid nanofluid AA7072-AA7075/water is found to be more efficient than AA7072/water, which could have practical applications in various fields such as piston motion, chocolate filling, power transfer, and compression.

Summary: The study investigates the flow and heat transfer characteristics of AA7072-AA7075/water-based hybrid nanofluid over a curved stretching sheet, showing that increasing curvature, Newtonian heating, and thermal relaxation parameters improves the heat transfer rate. Novelty lies in the thermal mechanism analysis of AA7072-AA7075 nanoparticles for enhancing heat transfer performance.

Flow and heat transfer of nanofluid over a permeable cylinder with nonlinear thermal radiation

Hassan Waqas et al.

Summary: This study examines heat transfer and viscous dissipation effects in nanoliquid flow through a porous stretchable cylinder, as well as investigates the upgraded heat transport rate in the base fluid with tiny-sized nanoparticles and convective heating and non-linearly thermal radiation effects. Solid particles MoS2 & Ag and base fluid engine-oil are used in the analysis, and boundary layer approximations are employed to model a set of PDEs. The structure model of PDEs is reduced into non-dimensional set of ODEs with the help of recommended similarity transformations, and the converted equations are solved numerically using the bvp4c solver in MATLAB, analyzing the behavior of prominent parameters against flow and thermal fields.
