Julian Wangler et al.

Summary: This study examined the extent to which non-medical practice employees are involved in dementia detection in general practices. The findings showed that the practice team members are willing to support doctors in identifying and diagnosing dementia, and their assistance has led to earlier identification of dementia cases. However, most interviewees expressed uncertainty in assessing possible signs of early dementia, indicating a lack of relevant training.
