Results identified complex associations among parental feeding behaviors, emotion dysregulation, and emotional eating, with different effects based on parents and adolescents' reports. These findings support the use of preventive interventions focused on healthy parent feeding behaviors and adaptive emotion regulation skills from a family-based perspective.
