The potential of new prediction models for emergency medical dispatch prioritisation of patients with chest pain: a cohort study

Kristoffer Wibring et al.

Summary: Developed prediction models using logistic regression analysis improved prioritization in emergency medical dispatch centers, accurately identifying high-priority and low-priority patients with chest pain. The models showed better sensitivity, positive predictive value, and allowed for more efficient allocation of emergency medical services resources compared to current criteria-based dispatch methods.
