This paper discusses the phenomenon of the recently discovered narrow peak X(3875) in the D* D system by LHCb, as well as the absence of resonances in the DsDs and D*D-s*(s) systems. It is explained within an extended version of the Recoupling Model that the resonance is the result of infinite recoupling transitions of confining strings between quarks and antiquarks. The Recoupling Mechanism also allows for the calculation of the resonance Z(c)(3900) in the D (D) over bar* system with a larger width, which agrees with experimental data.
The phenomenon of narrow peak X(3875), discovered recently by the LHCb in the D* D system, and the absence of resonances in the DsDs and D*D-s*(s) systems is discussed within the new extended version of the Recoupling Model, where the resonance is the result of infinite recoupling transitions of confining strings between quarks and antiquarks. We show that existence of the resonance in the D* D and its absence in DsDs and D*D-s*(s) systems are the natural results of the Recoupling Mechanism. The application of this mechanism to the D (D) over bar* system allows to obtain the resonance Z(c)(3900) with a larger width in agreement with experimental data.
