XUV frequency comb production with an astigmatism-compensated enhancement cavity

J. Nauta et al.

Summary: The team developed an extreme ultraviolet (XUV) frequency comb for ultra-high precision spectroscopy on highly charged ions (HCI). They achieved amplification of femtosecond pulses, coherently superposing several hundred incident pulses, and generating high harmonics with intense laser light. They successfully coupled harmonics from the 7th to the 35th for upcoming experiments on HCI frequency metrology.

Theory of dipole moment reconstruction by attosecond transient absorption spectroscopy

Xiaoxia Wu et al.

Summary: The study presents a general procedure for reconstructing time-dependent dipole moment via transient absorption spectrum within linear response theory. The reconstruction method demonstrates high fidelity and robustness, with a correlation coefficient reaching almost 100%. The theory provides a solid basis for understanding recent experiments and the reconstruction of dipole moment solely from absorption spectrum.
