Improved magnetic properties of self-composite SrFe12O19 powder prepared by Fe3O4 nanoparticles

Ruoshui Liu et al.

Summary: This study prepared self-composite SrM powders with 70% nano-size and 30% micro-size using Fe3O4 nanoparticles as the iron resource, resulting in a coercivity of 348.9 kA/m, demonstrating improved performance. The findings offer a new approach for the production of high-performance hexaferrites.

Magnetic properties improvement through exchange-coupling in hard/soft SrFe12O19/Co nanocomposite

A. Alipour et al.

Summary: This study prepared and investigated an exchange spring magnet with a new composition, demonstrating efficient exchange coupling behavior in SrFe12O19/Co nanocomposites with different hard/soft magnetic phase ratios. The non-aqueous polyol method was used for size control and impurity avoidance, confirmed by X-ray diffraction and SEM analysis. Vibrating sample magnetometer analysis revealed that the nanocomposite with 15% mass ratio of soft phase exhibited the highest exchange coupling interactions.

The origin of the dual ferroic properties in quasi-centrosymmetrical SrFe12-xInxO19 hexaferrites

A. Trukhanov et al.

Summary: The local crystal/magnetic structures of SrFe12-xInxO19 solid solutions were investigated using neutron powder diffraction, revealing the presence of ferroelectric and ferromagnetic ordering. The existence of a nonzero dipole moment in SrFe12-xInxO19 hexaferrites remains controversial, with a possible connection to unequal distortions of neighbor oxygen polyhedra. The formation of the nonzero dipole moment in In-substituted SrFe12-xInxO19 hexaferrites was described based on neutron diffraction data.

Effects of intrinsic defects and doping on SrFe12O19: A first-principles exploration of the structural, electronic and magnetic properties

Y. H. Hou et al.

Summary: The study shows that intrinsic defects and doping have different effects on SrFe12O19 under different oxygen conditions. When Co substitutes for Fe, Fe is easily replaced by Co, and La-Co co-doped SrFe12O19 exhibits n-type semiconductor characteristics.

Coexistence of Zn and Fe ions influenced magnetic and microwave shielding properties of Zn-doped SrFe12O19 ferrites

H. H. Nguyen et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the structural characterization, valence change of Fe, Raman spectra, and magnetic and microwave shielding properties of polycrystalline SrFe12-xZnxO19 (x = 0-1) samples. The Zn doping caused notable changes in the lattice constants, saturation magnetization, and coercive force of the samples. Additionally, the analysis revealed that both dielectric and magnetic losses contribute to the microwave-absorption properties of SrFe12-xZnxO19.

Summary: This study investigates the correlation between heat treatment conditions, crystal structure parameters, microstructure, and magnetic properties evolution in nanosized BaFe12O19 M-type hexaferrites. The results show that the annealing temperature has a significant impact on the microstructure parameters and non-linear changes in magnetic properties.
