Summary: Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a common malignant tumor of the head and neck with a poor prognosis and unsatisfactory treatment. This study found that the protein histidine phosphatase LHPP plays an important role in the development of OSCC. LHPP inhibits the growth and migration of OSCC by decreasing the activity of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and promoting apoptosis.
