Studies on the Structure, Optical, and Electrical Properties of Doped Manganese (III) Phthalocyanine Chloride Films for Optoelectronic Device Applications

Investigation of Diode Parameters of Photoconductive and Photovoltaic p-Type Si/Ge-Doped WOx Heterojunction

Summary: In this study, a Ge-doped WOx thin film was successfully deposited on a p-type Si wafer using physical vapour deposition technique. The structural analysis revealed the presence of four phases in the deposited thin film. The electrical and photovoltaic properties of the heterojunction were investigated, and it was found that they were influenced by the light intensity.

Cd dopant effect on structural and optoelectronic properties of TiO2 solar detectors

Summary: Al/n-Si/Ti1-xO2CdxO/Al photodiodes were produced with CdO dopant at different concentrations, showing increased bandgap energy with higher CdO doping rate. The photodiode properties were influenced by Cd doping, resulting in higher photosensitivity and photoresponsivity. Electrical characteristics were frequency-dependent, linked to interface state density which decreased with higher AC signal frequency.

Facile preparation of commercial Bi2O3 nanoparticle decorated activated carbon for pseudocapacitive supercapacitor applications

This promising electrochemical performance suggests potential use as a supercapacitor electrode.

Structural, photovoltaic and optoelectronic properties of graphene-amorphous carbon nanocomposite

Summary: In this study, reduced graphene oxide-amorphous carbon nanocomposites were used to fabricate graphene-based photodiodes or photodetectors, which were characterized and tested for photoresponsive characteristics. The results showed that the photoresponsive characteristics were influenced by illumination intensity, while the electrical properties were dependent on the AC signal frequency. Further investigation indicated that both signal frequency and density of interface states had a significant impact on the electrical characteristics of the photodiodes.

The fabricated thin film showed high optical conductivities and exhibited typical diode characteristics in metal/ITO/PMItz/metal devices. Conductivity measurements revealed a p-type conductivity with high carrier mobility and low specific resistance in PMItz.
