Association of Social Determinants of Health and Clinical Factors with Postpartum Hospital Readmissions Among Nulliparous Individuals

Summary: This study investigated factors associated with postpartum readmission and found that individuals with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy had a higher frequency of readmission. Preexisting comorbidity and intrapartum complications were associated with postpartum readmission among this population, while social determinants of health were not.
