Pardeep Kumar et al.

Summary: This study investigates the heat and mass transfer of magnetohydrodynamic nanofluids via the Riga plate subjected to convective boundary conditions, including the thermal radiation parameter. The graphs and tables explore the effects of pertinent parameters on the transference of heat, mass and velocity profiles. It is observed that the thickness of the temperature profile is increased by combining the Biot number, the thermal radiation parameter, the thermal conductivity parameter and the modified Hartmann number.

Stratified Flow of Micropolar Nanofluid over Riga Plate: Numerical Analysis

Khuram Rafique et al.

Summary: In this article, a numerical analysis is presented to investigate the energy and mass transport behavior of microrotational flow considering suction or injection and mixed convection. The thermal stratified parameters of nanofluid are determined using the Keller box model, and the boundary layer equations are transformed into coupled ODEs with nonlinearities. The effects of embedded flow and physical quantities of interest on the flow behavior are examined and illustrated through tables and graphs.

Melting effect on Cattaneo-Christov and thermal radiation features for aligned MHD nanofluid flow comprising microorganisms to leading edge: FEM approach

Liaqat Ali et al.

Summary: This study investigates the fluctuating temperature in a water-based nanofluid with Cattaneo-Christov features and self-motive bioconvective microbes. The excision/accretion of the leading edge is observed. By implementing similarity measures, a set of partial differential equations is transformed into an ordinary differential pattern. The numerical results of the non-linear system of equations are obtained using a finite element technique and Matlab programming. The findings reveal the effects of persuasive parameters on microbes propagation, fluid temperature, the volume fraction of nano-inclusions, and fluid velocity.

Time-dependent squeezing bio-thermal MHD convection flow of a micropolar nanofluid between two parallel disks with multiple slip effects

Tariq Hussain et al.

Summary: In this study, numerical analysis was performed on the fluid model of an incompressible, time-dependent electrically conducting squeezing flow of a micropolar fluid. The thermal performance was discussed using the Buorngiorno nanofluid theory, while the suspended nanoparticles were sustained through bioconvection induced by the combined influence of magnetic field and buoyancy forces. The results showed the characteristics of velocity, temperature, concentration, and microorganism fields. It was observed that micropolar and magnetic parameters had opposite effects on the micro-rotation field. Furthermore, the Brownian motion and thermopheresis parameters had similar influences on the temperature profiles.

Summary: A rotating dynamical system is used in this analysis to study the influence of enthalpy and rotated fluid flow in a finite three-dimensional channel. The exponential varying viscosity model is employed, and chemically reactive diffusion is examined with Arrhenius activation energy. The numerical solution of the non-linear ordinary differential problem is obtained using the shooting process coded in Matlab software. The varying shapes of velocities, fluid temperature, and concentration functions are calculated to reveal the physical nature of this analysis.

Summary: This study discusses the impact of Lorentz and Coriolis forces on the kinetics of gyratory Maxwell nanofluids flowing against a continually stretched surface. The results show that the enhanced effects of these forces lead to moderated velocities, while the concentration and temperature profiles exhibit an opposite tendency. The findings also reveal that the intensity, temperature, and velocity variances are more prominent in the suction scenario compared to the injection scenario.

Numerical Analysis of Micro-Rotation Effect on Nanofluid Flow for Vertical Riga Plate

Hammad Alotaibi et al.

Summary: The study focuses on analyzing the heat and mass transport phenomenon of micropolar nanofluid flow on a vertical stretching Riga plate, using electromagnetic hydrodynamic behavior. The influences of Brownian motion and thermophoresis on the plate are examined, as well as the micro-rotational effects of particles. Numerical computations show good agreement with earlier studies, with velocity profiles corresponding with modified Hartmann numbers and increased energy and mass flux rates. Concentration distribution decreases with higher Brownian motion values, while temperature distribution increases with higher values of both Brownian motion and thermophoresis, showing a direct relation with thermophoretic impact.
