Strategy for the fabrication of perovskite-based green micro LED for ultra high-resolution displays by micro-molding process and surface passivation

Hee Ju An et al.

Summary: This study successfully developed a high-resolution large-area soft lithography method for micro-patterning of perovskite emissive layer. Various polymers with different functional groups were applied to passivate the perovskite surface, leading to improved efficiency and stability of micro PeLEDs. The CsPbBr3-polyacrylonitrile (PAN) micro PeLEDs demonstrated optimal performance and high stability, with potential for use in ultra-high-resolution displays (UHDs).

Fabry-Perot Mode-Limited High-Purcell-Enhanced Spontaneous Emission from In Situ Laser-Induced CsPbBr3 Quantum Dots in CsPb2Br5 Microcavities

Tianyuan Liang et al.

Summary: Patterned metal halide perovskites exhibit unique photophysical properties and high performance in photonic applications. A UV continuous wave laser can induce in situ crystallization of CsPbBr3 quantum dots inside CsPb2Br5 microplatelets, leading to high-Purcell-effect-enhanced cavity mode spontaneous emission. The luminescence shows a superlinear emission intensity-excitation intensity relation, suggesting the possibility of stimulated emission at higher photon concentrations.
