Effect of arylamino-carbazole containing hole transport materials on the device performance and lifetime of OLED

Kyu Sung Kim et al.

Summary: Four hyper-conjugated aromatic hole transporting materials with different molecular geometry and energy levels were synthesized by attaching arylamino moiety to the carbazole core. Their characteristics were investigated using various spectroscopic techniques. The hole transporting properties were similar among the synthesized molecules, but the device performance and lifetime were greatly influenced by molecular geometry and energy levels.
