A dual-signal sensing strategy based on ratiometric fluorescence and colorimetry for determination of Cu2+ and glyphosate

Yixia Yang et al.

Summary: A dual-signal sensing strategy based on ratiometric fluorescence and colorimetry has been developed for the detection of Cu2+ and glyphosate. This strategy utilizes the fluorescence resonance energy transfer and absorption characteristics of specific substances generated through oxidation reactions. Under the optimized conditions, this sensing system demonstrates good selectivity and sensitivity, and performs well in real samples.

Speciation analysis of silver ions and silver nanoparticles in commercial antibacterial products by a self-constructed fluorescent spectrophotometer

Rui Jian et al.

Summary: In this work, a miniaturized fluorescent spectrophotometer was constructed using a cheap LED as the light source and a handheld CCD as the detector. The system accurately detected silver ions and silver nanoparticles without any pre-concentration or chromatographic separation operations. The proposed system demonstrated satisfactory results in the speciation analysis of commercial antibacterial products.

A FeS2NPs-Luminol-MnO2NSs system based on chemiluminescence resonance energy transfer platform for sensing glutathione

Xiaomin Liu et al.

Summary: In this study, ferrous disulfide nanoparticles (FeS(2)NPs) with oxidase properties were synthesized and a FeS(2)NPs-Luminol-MnO(2)NSs chemiluminescence resonance energy transfer (CRET) system was successfully established. A GSH sensor based on this system was developed, which exhibited high sensitivity and low detection limit.
