In this study, a gel suspension printing system using temperature-sensitive material, Pluronic F-127, was proposed for 3D bio-printing of soft tissues. The printing parameters of the system were confirmed, and a heart organ model was successfully fabricated, demonstrating its practical ability. In vitro cell experiments showed good biocompatibility of the printed tissues.
Clinical applications of soft tissue using 3D bio-printing have been limited due to the difficulty of forming bio-ink materials. In this study, we propose a simple and feasible gel suspension printing system with high printing accuracy using a temperature-sensitive material, Pluronic F-127. The detailed printing parameters of the printing system were confirmed. A heart organ model was successfully fabricated using this printing system, and in vitro cell experiments have demonstrated its good biocompatibility. The results showed that the printing system has the practical ability to prepare soft tissues for application.
