Influence of preparation methods of supports on the deNOx performance and alkali-metal resistance over TiO2/CeO2 catalysts in NH3-SCR reaction

Xiaojiang Yao et al.

Summary: Two kinds of TiO2/CeO2 catalysts with different morphologies were prepared by two different synthesis methods. It was found that random loading of TiO2 species on tubular CeO2 support did not enhance the catalyst performance, and the excellent catalytic performance was attributed to better dispersion of TiO2 species and superior physicochemical properties.

A novel flower-like MnCe/TiO2 catalyst with controlled morphology for low-temperature selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3

Bo Qin et al.

Summary: A flower-like MnCe/TiO2 catalyst was synthesized via hydrothermal method and exhibited excellent SCR performance and resistance to SO2 and H2O. The catalyst possessed a larger surface area, higher Ce3+ and Mn4+ content, superior surface acidity and redox performance, which greatly improved the SCR performance.

Low-Dose Element-Doped CeCrM/TiO2 (M = La, Cu, Fe, LaCu, LaFe) Catalyst for Low-Temperature NH3-SCR Process: Synergistic Effect of LaCu/LaFe

Guilin Mu et al.

Summary: A series of CeCrM/TiO2 catalysts were prepared and used as NH3-SCR catalysts. CeCrLaCu/TiO2 exhibited the best catalytic performance with high NO conversion. The doping of LaCu/LaFe decreased the specific surface area of the catalyst but increased dispersion, surface acidity, and reducibility. LaCu/LaFe also promoted valence state distribution and oxygen vacancy content on the catalyst surface. The study provides valuable information for improving the performance of NH3-SCR catalysts.

Effects of the morphology and crystal-plane of TiO2 on NH3-SCR performance and K tolerance of V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalyst

Jun Cao et al.

Summary: TiO2 nano-rods have a larger BET surface area compared to nano-octahedrons and nano-truncated octahedrons, facilitating the dispersion of active species and enhancing surface acidity and redox ability. V2O5-WO3/TiO2-NRs catalyst exhibits a stronger interaction between active species and support, leading to increased chemisorbed oxygen ratio and improved performance in NH3-SCR reaction under both Langmuir-Hinshelwood and Eley-Rideal mechanisms.
