Mn doped Prussian blue nanoparticles for T1/T2 MR imaging, PA imaging and Fenton reaction enhanced mild temperature photothermal therapy of tumor

Summary: This study prepared innovative Mn-doped Prussian blue nanoparticles (MnPB NPs) via a microemulsion method. MnPB NPs demonstrated excellent T-1 and T-2 weighted MRI enhancement and strong absorbance in the near infrared range, making them suitable for photothermal therapy and photoacoustics imaging in tumor treatment. Moreover, MnPB NPs showed excellent chemodynamic therapy activity. Overall, MnPB NPs have positive effectiveness in integrating tumor diagnosis and treatment.

This study provides a promising strategy for the development of safe and multifunctional composite materials with diagnostic and therapeutic properties.
