A green approach to phenolic compounds recovery from olive mill and winery wastes

The program allows for rapid and efficient data visualization and statistical analysis, providing researchers with a convenient tool for their analysis needs.

Phenols recovered from olive mill wastewater as natural booster to fortify blood orange juice

Summary: In this study, a tangential membrane filtration system was used to recover phenols from olive mill wastewater and apply them to fortify orange juice. The results showed that the concentrate obtained through reverse osmosis had the highest concentration of hydroxytyrosol and demonstrated the highest antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. The fortified juice, with the addition of the concentrate, maintained a suitable hydroxytyrosol content even after 60 days of refrigerated storage, making it a valuable "clean label" ingredient for industrial applications.
