Ex Vivo Fluorescence Confocal Microscopy in Specimens of the Liver: A Proof-of-Concept Study

Digital Biopsy with Fluorescence Confocal Microscope for Effective Real-time Diagnosis of Prostate Cancer: A Prospective, Comparative Study

Summary: This study evaluated the diagnostic ability of fluorescence confocal microscopy (FCM) for prostate cancer (PCa) identification and grading, showing that FCM is almost perfectly aligned with HE in PCa detection. Inter-rater agreement among pathologists was almost perfect for PCa detection, but only reached a moderate level for cancer grading.
