Associations Between Sleep Quality and 10-Year Cardiovascular Disease Risk Among Female Nurses in Hong Kong A Cross-sectional Study

Summary: This study investigated the association between sleep quality and cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk among Hong Kong female nurses. Poor sleep quality, characterized by sleep disturbance and daytime dysfunction, was found to be significantly associated with higher 10-year CVD risk. The associations were particularly strong among unemployed nurses, those undergoing postmenopause, or with a family history of CVDs.
