This paper provides an overview of the latest progress in PHP visualization and summarizes and prospects the visualization studies of PHP with different visualization techniques, operating conditions, structural parameters, and working fluids, providing a reference for future visualization research.

Heat transfer and flow characteristic of a flat confined loop thermosyphon with ternary hybrid nanofluids for electronic devices cooling

Summary: The purpose of this study was to investigate the feasibility of using ternary hybrid nanofluids in heat pipes and their effect on the operation performance of flat confined loop thermosiphon (FCLTS). Al2O3:Cu:TiO2 ternary hybrid nanofluids with different mixing ratios and concentrations were prepared. The synergistic effect of thermal conductivity enhancement was analyzed and the optimal mixing ratio of 4:2:4 was obtained. The thermal performance of an FCLTS with Al2O3:Cu:TiO2 nanofluids was investigated, revealing the improved wettability of the upper surface and the optimal conditions for enhanced heat transfer.

Battery thermal management systems based on nanofluids for electric vehicles

Various cooling methods, including those utilizing nanofluids, are reviewed for battery pack thermal management. The combination of nanofluids with phase change materials (PCMs) and heat pipes (HPs) for battery thermal management systems (BTMSs) is also discussed. It is found that nanofluids effectively improve the thermal management of batteries, and hybrid cooling systems based on nanofluids outperform single BTMSs in terms of temperature uniformity. Additionally, the article highlights the need for further research to enhance the technology and advancements of EVs.

Thermal performance evaluation of the heat pipe by using 1-pyrene carboxylic-acid functionalized graphene nanofluid

Experimental and transient thermal analysis of screen mesh wick heat pipe

Summary: The transient thermal analysis of a screen mesh wick heat pipe was conducted using de-ionized water as working fluid with screen mesh numbers 60 and 100.
