Daniel J. Grabo et al.

Summary: This study evaluates the applicability of the criteria in the Blue Book for military-civilian partnerships (MCP) by surveying MCP military surgeons and civilian host champions. The results demonstrate alignment between the criteria in the Blue Book and the experiences of MCP military surgeons and host champions. Further development of similar surveys may aid in the selection and evaluation process of MCP programs.

An Analysis of International Military Health Systems Using the Military Medical Corps Worldwide Almanac

Ryan M. Leone et al.

Summary: The review of the Military Medical Almanac revealed significant variation in the presentation of information in country profiles and the extent of comparability between submissions. The most consistent information was found in the country background, while there was inconsistency in reporting healthcare workers and beneficiaries. Some countries reported providing medical care to family members of service members, retirees, veterans, reservists, and law enforcement personnel. A few countries described organizational structures, military medical education institutions, and humanitarian operations, with limited reporting on research capabilities. Cultural identities such as emblems were present in nearly 90% of profiles, showing the diversity and individuality of each country's military medical system.
