Activity-State Dependent Reversal of Ketamine-Induced Resting State EEG Effects by Clozapine and Naltrexone in the Freely Moving Rat

Summary: In this study, the resting state EEG profiles induced by the co-administration of ketamine with either clozapine or naltrexone were investigated using local field potential recordings in freely moving rats. The results showed that the pharmacological effects of these drugs were more pronounced in the passive state, and the reversal of ketamine-induced EEG effects by clozapine and naltrexone differed.
