Flexible and stretchable transparent conductive graphene-based electrodes for emerging wearable electronics

Jinlei Miao et al.

Summary: With the emergence of smart wearable electronics, the demand for flexible and stretchable transparent conductive electrodes (TCEs) has increased. Graphene, a novel two-dimensional carbon material, has unique properties that make it an ideal candidate for elastic TCEs. This review comprehensively summarizes the advancements in graphene-based elastic TCEs and discusses the strategies and mechanisms for achieving high mechanical flexibility and transparency.

Determination of the SmO+ bond energy by threshold photodissociation of the cryogenically cooled ion

Anton Lachowicz et al.

Summary: The experimental measurement of the SmO+ bond energy at 5.596±0.004 eV reveals the endothermic nature of the chemi-ionization reaction between atomic Sm and atomic oxygen. The prepared SmO+ ion by electrospray ionization shows a UV photodissociation threshold similar to the bare ion, ruling out the role of electronically excited states. Reanalysis and remeasurement of previous reaction kinetics experiments depending on D-0(SmO+) help reconcile all experimental results.

Electronic structure of NdO via slow photoelectron velocity-map imaging spectroscopy of NdO-

Mark C. Babin et al.

Summary: This study reports on the energetics and spectroscopy of NdO using a combination of experimental and theoretical methods, including slow photoelectron velocity-map imaging spectroscopy and quantum-chemical calculations. The electron affinity of NdO is measured to be 1.0091(7) eV and transitions to low-lying electronic and vibrational states of NdO are resolved, shedding light on prior observations from release experiments.
