Discovery of a Highly Selective and H435R-Sensitive ThyroidHormone Receptor?Agonist

Qiu Li et al.

Summary: In this study, a well-characterized and mutation-sensitive TRβ agonist, compound 16g, was successfully designed and developed. By breaking the His-Phe switch, the issues of subtype selectivity and mutation sensitivity were addressed. The compound showed excellent medicinal properties and biological activity, making it a potential candidate for the treatment of various diseases.
