Role of tellurium addition on the linear and non-linear optical, structural, morphological properties of Ag60-xSe40Tex thin films for nonlinear applications

The structural, morphological, and optical properties of the films were significantly influenced by the high energy ion beam, as validated by various analyses including XRD, Raman spectroscopy, and RBS.

Increase in nonlinear susceptibility and refractive index in quaternary In15Sb10S15Se60 thin films upon annealing at different temperature for photonic applications

Summary: The current paper reports the thermal annealing induced amorphous to crystalline transformation of the quaternary In15Sb10S15Se60 thin films. The structural and optical properties of the films were characterized, and it was found that annealing resulted in the decrease of optical bandgap and increase in linear refractive index. The changes in the linear and nonlinear optical parameters make the In15Sb10S15Se60 thin films suitable for various photonic and optoelectronic applications.
