Synthesis of Palladium and Copper Nanoparticles Supported on TiO2 for Oxidation Solvent-Free Aerobic Oxidation of Benzyl Alcohol

Summary: The use of metal oxides as supports for Pd-Cu nanoalloys has shown improvements in catalytic performance, particularly in terms of activity and selectivity towards isomerization products. The influence of Cu-Pd ratio, support material, and temperature on catalyst performance was investigated, along with the catalyst reusability for benzyl alcohol oxidation reactions. The Pd-Cu/TiO2 catalyst exhibited better reusability even after several reactions.
