Trends of Colorectal Cancer Screening Rates in Korea: Korean National Cancer Screening Survey 2005-2020

Summary: This study aimed to describe the trends of colorectal cancer (CRC) screening in organized and opportunistic settings in Korea from 2005 to 2020 and analyze the impact of sociodemographic characteristics. The results showed a significant improvement in CRC screening rates in the general Korean population, but the rate has stabilized since 2014. There were disparities in screening rates among populations with different socioeconomic status.
