Differences in Head Impact Exposures Between Youth Tackle and Flag Football Games and Practices: Potential Implications for Prevention Strategies

Kelly Sarmiento et al.

Summary: The study found that tackle football athletes experience significantly more head impacts during both practices and games compared to flag football athletes. Therefore, it is suggested to focus on game-based interventions to reduce head impact exposures for youth football athletes.
