Ferromagnetic, ferroelectric, and magnetoelectric properties in individual nanotube-based magnetoelectric films of CoFe2O4/BaTiO3 using electrically resistive core-shell magnetostrictive nanoparticles

Byung-Il Noh et al.

Summary: In this study, individual nanotube-based ME films of CoFe2O4/BaTiO3 were developed with optimized magnetostrictive phase, piezoelectric phase, and interface between the phases. These ME films demonstrated enhanced dipole moments and high ME coefficient, showing potential for applications in high-sensitive magnetic sensors or low-power energy harvesters.

Enhancement in the magnetoelectric and energy storage properties of core-shell-like CoFe2O4 - BaTiO3 multiferroic nanocomposite

S. Ahmed et al.

Summary: In this study, a core-shell-like CoFe2O4-BaTiO3 multiferroic nanocomposite was successfully developed via the wet chemical route, exhibiting high dielectric permittivity and moderate saturation magnetization and polarization values. The composite also showed enhanced energy storage efficiency and magnetoelectric coefficient, attributed to strong interfacial coupling and reduced leakage current, making it promising for multifunctional device applications.

Summary: In this study, magnetoelectric composite ceramics were synthesized by solid-state method, and the effects of composition on microstructure, dielectric, ferroelectric and magnetic properties were systematically investigated. The results showed that with increasing concentration of BTO-BA, the grain size of CCFO increased while that of BTO-BA was suppressed by the addition of CCFO, and decreasing CCFO concentration led to a more obvious magnetodielectric effect in the composites.
