Changes in pulmonary function and their correlation with dose-volume parameters in patients undergoing stereotactic body radiotherapy for lung cancer

Shinya Takemoto et al.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the prediction of decreases in pulmonary function after SBRT from radiation dose-volume parameters. PTV was correlated with changes in FVC, and %V-20Gy was closest to the percentage decrease in predicted FVC. A 10% decrease in %V-20Gy tended to be associated with a similar reduction in predicted FVC.
