The Interaction Between StCDPK14 and StRbohB Contributes to Benzo-(1,2,3)-Thiadiazole-7-Carbothioic Acid S-Methyl Ester-Induced Wound Healing of Potato Tubers by Regulating Reactive Oxygen Species Generation

Summary: The production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) plays a crucial role in physiological processes and plant responses to environmental stress. This study investigated the involvement of calcium-dependent protein kinases (CDPKs) in ROS generation induced by benzo-(1, 2, 3)-thiadiazole-7-carbothioic acid S-methyl ester (BTH) during wound healing of potato tubers. The results showed that StCDPK14, one of the StCDPKs significantly induced by BTH treatment, plays a key role in ROS generation by interacting with StRbohB during wound healing processes.
