Sub-micro droplet reactors for green synthesis of Li3VO4 anode materials in lithium ion batteries

Ha Tran Huu et al.

Summary: The conventional solid-state reaction faces challenges of low diffusivity, high energy consumption, and uncontrolled morphology, which can be overcome by a low-temperature solidstate reaction process conducted in water vapor along with calcium doping for modifying lithium vanadate as anode material for lithium-ion batteries. The optimized material shows superior specific capacity and cycling performance at high current densities, attributed to the contribution of pseudocapacitance, as well as the particles confinement of droplets in water vapor and the surface and structure variation of the calcium doping effect.

Synthesis and optical properties of Cs4PbBr6 perovskite nanocrystals by the water assisted solid-state reaction (WASSR) method

Tae Wook Kang et al.

Summary: In this study, green-emitting Cs4PbBr6 nanocrystals were synthesized for the first time using the water-assisted solid-state reaction method. The nanocrystals exhibited a bright green emission with a narrow emission band centered at 518 nm and a high photoluminescence quantum yield of 36.8%. They also showed excellent durability at elevated temperature and humidity conditions, retaining 82% of the initial photoluminescence intensity. Additionally, the Cs4PbBr6 nanocrystal film LED chip demonstrated a luminous efficacy of 30.6 lm W-rad(-1).
