One-pot synthesis of SnO2 nanoparticles decorated multi-walled carbon nanotubes using pulsed laser ablation for photocatalytic applications

Summary: This study reports the synthesis and characterization of SnO2/CNT nanocomposites and their photocatalytic performance for the degradation of methylene blue dye. Morphological and elemental tuning of BiOCl/BiVO4 heterostructure for uric acid electrochemical sensor and antibiotic photocatalytic degradation

Summary: In this study, deep eutectic solvents (DES) were used to assist the synthesis of BiOCl/BiVO4 heterostructured catalyst, which was applied in electrochemical uric acid (UA) sensor and tetracycline photocatalytic degradation. The chemical composition of the catalyst was analyzed by X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy (XPS). UV-vis spectroscopy revealed increased visible light absorption and narrowing band gap energy for BiOCl/BiVO4-TU. The morphology of the catalyst was analyzed using FE-SEM and TEM, and the increased lifetime of e -/h+ pair after heterostructure formation was confirmed by TRPL.

Enhanced photocatalytic reduction of Cr(VI) by the novel hetero-system BaFe2O4/SnO2

The formation of a Z-scheme photocatalytic system in the composite reduced charge carrier recombination and enhanced photoactivity. Construction of Z-scheme BiOCl/Bi24O31Br10 hierarchical heterostructures with enhanced photocatalytic activity

Robust visible light active PANI/LaFeO3/CoFe2O4 ternary heterojunction for the photo-degradation and mineralization of pharmaceutical effluent: Clozapine
