Construction of CuO/Cu-nanoflowers loaded on chitosan-derived porous carbon for high energy density supercapacitors

Facile synthesis of porous CuO/Cu2O/Cu composite powders for hybrid supercapacitors

Summary: In this research, CuO/Cu2O/Cu composite powders were prepared using copper nitrate as oxidant and various organic fuels. The effects of different fuels on the properties of the powders were analyzed. The powders synthesized using urea had the highest Cu2O phase content, while the polyvinylpyrrolidone fuel produced the highest CuO phase content. The composite powders prepared with glycine fuel showed the highest specific capacity and comparable electrochemical energy storage performance.

MOF-Derived Cu3P nanoparticles coated with N-doped carbon for nitrogen fixation
