Minimal observability of Boolean control networks

Yang Liu et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the minimum observability of Boolean control networks (BCNs) and proposes an augmented system for analyzing the dynamic trajectories of state pairs. An effective criterion for observability of BCNs is presented using graphic tools. By introducing an indicator matrix, the solution of added measurements can be obtained, and the problem of least added measurements can be solved through a minimum set covering problem.

New Method for Disturbance Decoupling of Boolean Networks

Jun-E Feng et al.

Summary: This article investigates the disturbance decoupling problem of Boolean networks and Boolean control networks from a new perspective. A new method is proposed and specific steps and conditions are provided. By introducing a new discriminant and constructing a truth matrix, the results of this article have lower computational complexity and are validated and demonstrated through two examples.

Ex-Ante Agent Transformation of Bayesian Games

Yuhu Wu et al.

Summary: A new transformation method is proposed to convert Bayesian games to ex-ante agent games, and it is proven that this transformation preserves potentiality. The correspondence between pure Bayesian Nash equilibria and pure Nash equilibria of the resulting ex-ante agent games is established. This research provides new insights into seeking pure Bayesian Nash equilibria and applies them to a routing problem with incomplete information.

Output Feedback Observability of Switched Boolean Control Networks

Yiliang Li et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the output feedback observability of switched Boolean control networks and proposes six types of observability. By introducing the technique of parallel extension and the new system named induced logical dynamic system, necessary and sufficient conditions for these observabilities are obtained, and the relation with existing observability results is analyzed.

Observability of Galois nonlinear feedback shift registers

Wenhui Kong et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the observability of Galois NFSRs and presents necessary and/or sufficient conditions using the semi-tensor product-based Boolean network theory. A new observability matrix is proposed to facilitate the determination of observability.

Input-output decoupling for mix-valued logical control networks via the semi-tensor product method

Jianjun Wang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the input-output decoupling problem of mix-valued logical control networks using the semi-tensor product method. An algorithm is proposed to construct an output-friendly subspace and necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of consistent output-friendly subspaces are derived. The solvability of input-output decoupling problem under open-loop controller is obtained and illustrated with an example.

Detectability vverification of probabilistic Boolean networks

Xiao-Guang Han et al.

Summary: In this paper, three fundamental categories of detectability in probabilistic Boolean networks with output observations are proposed, and a uniform methodology for verification utilizing semi-tensor product technique is created. Necessary and sufficient verification criteria are derived, and numerical tractability is achieved by avoiding graph-based symbolic manipulations. The correctness and effectiveness of the obtained results are demonstrated through several examples modeled by the same PBN.
