Recursive sliding mode control with adaptive disturbance observer for a linear motor positioner

Ke Shao et al.

Summary: A robust recursive sliding mode controller combined with an adaptive disturbance observer (RSM-ADO) is proposed in this paper for high-speed and high-precision control of a linear motor (LM) positioner. The proposed method eliminates the reaching phase and allows the tracking error to converge to zero in finite time. Lyapunov analysis is used to prove the finite time convergence of the tracking error under the proposed RSM-ADO control scheme.

Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Controllers for PMSM Speed Regulation System Considering the Speed Filter

Yuefei Zuo et al.

Summary: Two ADRC controllers considering speed measurement noise are proposed in this study, one based on ESO and the other based on PLLO. By using an integrator as the speed filter, the measured position can be directly used to observe speed and disturbance without affecting the systems' dynamic performance, and the PLLO-based ADRC system has a better ability to reject low-frequency disturbances. Experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

An Improved Deadbeat Predictive Current Control Scheme for Open-Winding Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Drives With Disturbance Observer

Xueping Li et al.

Summary: A novel control method is proposed to improve the performance of open-winding permanent magnet synchronous motors with a common dc bus by simultaneously eliminating parameter mismatches in the d-axis, q-axis, and ZSL. The method utilizes an extended state observer (ESO) and deadbeat predictive current control (DPCC) to address one-step delay and disturbances caused by parameter mismatch. The proposed method enhances the robustness of the motor against parameter mismatches and has been validated through simulation and experimental results.

Zero-Sequence Current Suppression Strategy With Common-Mode Voltage Control for Open-End Winding PMSM Drives With Common DC Bus

Wei Hu et al.

Summary: This article proposes a strategy to not only suppress the zero-sequence current in the three-phase open-end winding permanent-magnet synchronous machine (OW-PMSM) system, but also eliminate the ripple of common-mode voltage (CMV) simultaneously. The method involves synchronously adjusting the duration time of each phase to suppress zero-sequence current and distributing the duration time to each switch device of the two inverters to eliminate the CMV ripple. The influence of dead time on CMV control is analyzed, showing that it is irrelevant, and the effective modulation range of the technique is also examined.
