Effect of the plasma sheath on the propagation of low frequency radio waves

Summary: This study investigated the influence of the plasma sheath on the quality of wireless signals around hypersonic vehicles, developing an electromagnetic algorithm for the plasma sheath data. Results showed that, under different flight conditions, the influence of the plasma sheath and the vehicle antenna led to diverse propagation behaviors of radio waves.
