The low grazing angle S-band radar sea clutter data collected by the NetRAD multistatic radar system is analyzed and it is found that the Suzuki distribution, a compound Gaussian model with log normal texture, is a good model for both monostatic and bistatic clutter. The clutter textures from simultaneously recorded monostatic and bistatic data are interpreted using hydrodynamics, providing estimates of water depth and wave direction.
