Simulation of ENSO Teleconnections to Precipitation Extremes over the United States in the High-Resolution Version of E3SM

The high-resolution model shows a better representation of moisture transport from the Gulf of Mexico during El Nino years, enhancing the variability of moisture, while it brings in more moisture from the Pacific Ocean in La Nina years in the Pacific Northwest.
