Towards Accurate and Robust Domain Adaptation Under Multiple Noisy Environments

Zhongyi Han et al.

Summary: In this paper, a noise-robust domain adaptation method is proposed to address the issue of corrupted source domain examples in multiple noisy environments. By utilizing offline curriculum learning, gradually decreasing noisy distribution distance, estimating open-set noise degree, robust parameter learning, and domain-invariant feature learning, these components are seamlessly transformed into an adversarial network for efficient joint optimization, leading to significant improvements in transfer tasks.

Omni-DETR: Omni-Supervised Object Detection with Transformers

Pei Wang et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the problem of omni-supervised object detection, utilizing unlabeled, fully labeled, and weakly labeled annotations to improve detection performance. A unified architecture, Omni-DETR, based on the student-teacher framework and end-to-end transformer-based object detection, is proposed, enabling the use of different types of weak labels to generate accurate pseudo labels for model learning. Experimental results show that Omni-DETR achieves state-of-the-art performance on multiple datasets and settings, and weak annotations can effectively enhance detection performance.

Few-Shot Object Detection with Fully Cross-Transformer

Guangxing Han et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel Fully Cross-Transformer based model (FCT) for few-shot object detection (FSOD). It incorporates cross-transformer into both the feature backbone and detection head, and introduces asymmetric-batched cross-attention to aggregate key information from the two branches. The model improves few-shot similarity learning between the branches by introducing multi-level interactions.

Vehicle classification using a real-time convolutional structure based on DWT pooling layer and SE blocks

Hossein Gholamalinejad et al.

Summary: Real-time Convolutional Neural Network proposed for vehicle type classification in this paper combines classic CNN layers, SE modules, and Haar wavelet pooling layer to improve performance. The model outperforms others in recognition time and accuracy on two vehicle datasets, with significantly fewer training parameters than popular networks like VGG, ResNet152, DarkNet, and Inception-V3. Its recognition time is only 42 ms on CPU, suitable for real-time applications.
