Unveiling the inductive strategy of different precipitants on MnFeOx catalyst for low-temperature NH3-SCR reaction

Zhichao Chen et al.

Summary: The inductive strategy of three precipitants on dual transition metal MnFeOx catalysts for low-temperature NH3-SCR reaction was investigated. The anions of precipitants played a leading role in the formation of catalytic phase, while cations determined the stability of hydroxyl groups. The MnFe-ammonium carbonate catalyst showed the highest catalytic efficiency, with over 90% NO conversion achieved from 75 to 225 degrees C. The effects of the precipitants on the intrinsic catalytic activity of the catalysts, such as energy barrier and reaction rate, were confirmed.

Enhancement of SO2 Resistance on Submonolayer V2O5-MnO2/CeO2 Catalyst by Three-Dimensional Ordered Mesoporous CeO2 in Low-Temperature NH3-SCR

Kaiwen Ni et al.

Summary: The development of low-temperature SO2-tolerant catalysts for NOx reduction is a challenging task. In this study, a novel catalyst V2O5-MnO2/3D-CeO2 was successfully prepared and showed high resistance to SO2 in low-temperature SCR.

Insights into samarium doping effects on catalytic activity and SO2 tolerance of MnFeOx catalyst for low-temperature NH3-SCR reaction

Zhichao Chen et al.

Summary: A series of Sm-doping MnFeOx catalysts were synthesized and SmMnFe-0.1 catalyst showed high NH3-SCR activity and excellent SO2 tolerance. The presence of Sm optimized the dispersity of active components and enlarged the surface area, leading to enhanced catalytic performance.

Enhancement of Ce doped La-Mn oxides for the selective catalytic reduction of NOx with NH3 and SO2 and/or H2O resistance

Xueke Shi et al.

Summary: Cerium modified La-Mn oxides show high NOx conversion rates and N2 selectivity in NH3-SCR reaction, with good resistance to SO2 and H2O. Ce doping optimizes the structure of La-Mn oxides, allowing them to maintain their perovskite structure while some CeOx and Mn3O4 leak out.

Improvement of NH3-SCR activity and resistance to SO2 and H2O by Ce modified La-Mn perovskite catalyst

Xueke Shi et al.

Summary: Ce-modified La-Mn perovskite catalysts exhibit enhanced catalytic performance for NOx removal, achieving high conversion rates at relatively low temperatures and maintaining stability in the presence of sulfur dioxide and water. Ce doping improves the catalyst's tolerance to SO2 and enhances its specific surface area, acidic sites, chemically adsorbed oxygen, and redox performance.

Effects of Sm modification on biochar supported Mn oxide catalysts for low-temperature NH3-SCR of NO

Lin Chen et al.

Summary: In this study, Samarium-modified Mn oxide biochar-based catalysts showed excellent activity in low-temperature selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3. The addition of Sm species significantly increased surface adsorbed oxygen, active acid sites, and promoted the NH3-SCR reaction. The catalyst followed the L-H mechanism, with the generation of intermediate -NH2, NH4+ species and NxOy species.
