Benefits Evaluation Method of an Integrated Energy System Based on a Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method

Jie Cao et al.

Summary: This paper proposes an evaluation method for integrated energy systems (IES) that considers renewable energy and energy system models. It constructs an evaluation index system and determines subjective and objective weights using fuzzy number and analytic hierarchy process methods. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is then used to evaluate the benefits of IES. The proposed method is validated through a case study in northern China.

Low-carbon economic dispatch of integrated energy system considering the uncertainty of energy efficiency

Yurui Xu et al.

Summary: This paper develops a low-carbon economic dispatch method that considers the uncertainty of energy efficiency. By integrating a correction technique into the traditional energy hub, a dynamic energy hub is established. The deep neural network method is utilized to correct energy efficiency affected by load level, temperature, and pressure, and a low-carbon economic dispatch model is formulated to minimize operational costs.

Multi-Time Period Optimal Dispatch Strategy for Integrated Energy System Considering Renewable Energy Generation Accommodation

Chutian Yu et al.

Summary: This paper presents an optimal operation model for an integrated energy system, including green certificate trading and carbon emission right trading to promote the accommodation of renewable energy generation (REG). To address the uncertainty in REG, a multi-time period optimal dispatching scheme is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of this method in enhancing the accommodation capability for REG.

Review and prospect of data-driven techniques for load forecasting in integrated energy systems

Jizhong Zhu et al.

Summary: Integrated energy systems (IESs) have been recognized as an effective approach for accommodating large-scale renewables and achieving environmental sustainability through synergies among multiple energy sectors. Accurate load forecasting is crucial for maintaining energy balance in IES operation. Recent advances in data-driven techniques have led to new solutions for load forecasting in IES, with complex influential factors and multivariate load series being forecasted simultaneously to address intersectoral coupling. Future trends include the use of federated learning for coordinated load forecasting and automated machine learning to improve forecasting in complex IESs, along with the need for further research on the limited data issue.
