Summary: To tackle the adverse impact of pulse power loads and fluctuating PV power on grid stability, a hybrid energy storage system (HESS) is proposed, which integrates hydrogen/bromine redox flow battery and supercapacitor. The system incorporates an antiwindup mixed-order generalized integrator, an improved sparrow search algorithm tuned tilt integral-derivative with filter controller, and a fast-acting adaptive dc-link power-based energy management control. The effectiveness of the proposed system and control strategies are confirmed through MATLAB simulation and OPAL-RT real-time simulator test bench.

Summary: This article proposes a novel single-phase FLL algorithm that can adaptively adjust the dynamic and steady-state performance by adjusting the damping ratio. An adaptive algorithm is designed to achieve this adjustment. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the algorithm can achieve rapid convergence, strong filtering capability, and high estimation accuracy simultaneously.

Summary: This article proposes a modified discrete method to eliminate the dc offset issue in parallel second-order generalized integrators (SOGI) in digital implementation. A discrete low-pass filter (LPF) is introduced to remove the dc offset in the discrete SOGIs, and a discrete multiple-channel SOGI-LPF is formed by paralleling multiple discrete SOGI-LPFs to extract different frequency components. Additionally, a discrete frequency-locked loop (FLL) is proposed to estimate the frequency of the input signal and achieve good dynamics. The stability analysis based on discrete linear-time periodic (LTP) model is provided.
