Community participation in youth with craniofacial microsomia

Summary: This study found significant differences in community participation frequency, level of involvement, and desire for change in participation between youth with craniofacial microsomia and non-affected peers not receiving services. The results suggest lower community participation in youth with craniofacial microsomia.

Caregiver Perspectives on School Participation Among Students With Craniofacial Microsomia

Summary: Students with craniofacial microsomia (CFM) demonstrated higher levels of participation restriction in terms of frequency, involvement, and desired change compared to students without CFM and no history of service use. However, there were no statistically significant group differences in environmental support for participation in the school setting.
