Adsorption performance of tetracycline on NiFe layered double hydroxide hollow microspheres synthesized with silica as the template

Xing Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, NiFe LDH hollow microspheres (NFHMS) were synthesized and comprehensively characterized for the removal of tetracycline in an aquatic environment. The NFHMS showed a larger specific surface area and higher adsorption performance, primarily through electrostatic adsorption. The Langmuir model was found to be more suitable for explaining the adsorption process, and temperature and initial pH of the solution had an impact on the adsorption capacity. Additionally, the NFHMS exhibited good stability in cyclic tests.

A novel approach to prepare Cu(I)Zn@MIL-100(Fe) adsorbent with high CO adsorption capacity, CO/CO2 selectivity and stability via controlled host-guest redox reaction

Van Nhieu Le et al.

Summary: A novel Cu(I)-incorporated MIL-100(Fe) adsorbent for CO/CO2 separation was prepared using a host-guest redox strategy by exploiting the co-addition of Zn(II) and Cu(II). The addition of Zn(II) resulted in a higher Cu(I) yield of the adsorbent and significantly increased the CO/CO2 selectivity of the resulting Cu(I)Zn@MIL-100(Fe)-10.
