Fewer maternal depression symptoms after the Close Collaboration with Parents intervention: Two-year follow-up

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate whether the implementation of the Close Collaboration with Parents intervention in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) could reduce maternal depression symptoms up to two years after the delivery of preterm infants. The results showed that the intervention had a long-term preventive effect on maternal depressive symptoms, with similar effects observed at the six-month and two-year time-points.
