High-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol in Young Nondiabetic Coronary Heart Disease Patients

Ziyang Hu et al.

Summary: The study investigated the relationship between lipid profiles and coronary heart disease (CHD) in nondiabetic patients under 65 years of age. The results showed that high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) may be inversely associated with the risk of CHD, especially in men. Further research is needed to confirm these findings.

Trends and distribution of coronary heart disease mortality rate in Hexi Corridor, Gansu, China from 2006 to 2015

Xinghui Li et al.

Summary: The study described the trend and distribution of coronary heart disease in the Hexi Corridor region of Gansu. The overall mortality rate of CHD showed a decreasing trend, with higher rates in men, rural areas, and older age groups, while younger age groups and women experienced different trends. Improvements in environmental pollution and effective drug treatments have contributed to the decline in CHD mortality rates.
