Satisfaction and medication adherence in women with vulvovaginal atrophy: the CRETA

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the self-reported satisfaction of Spanish postmenopausal women currently treated for vulvovaginal atrophy (VVA) symptoms. The study found that treatment with ospemifene resulted in higher satisfaction levels and better treatment adherence compared to local hormone therapy and vaginal moisturizers.

Risk of venous thromboembolism among women receiving ospemifene: a comparative observational study

Summary: This study compared the incidence of venous thromboembolism (VTE) among women treated with ospemifene and other selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) therapies, as well as untreated vulvar and vaginal atrophy (VVA) women. The results showed that there was no increase in the risk of VTE or other adverse events with the use of ospemifene in postmenopausal women.
