Natural Berberine-derived Azolyl Ethanols as New Structural Antibacterial Agents against Drug-Resistant Escherichia coli

Summary: A series of novel triazole compounds containing 1,2,3-triazole side chains were synthesized and showed promising antifungal activity in vitro and in vivo. Compound 9A16 exhibited excellent antifungal and anti-drug-resistant fungal ability, as well as powerful efficacy in mice infected with various fungal strains. Furthermore, compound 9A16 demonstrated better anti-biofilm activity and resistance induction compared to fluconazole.
